We have 13 cats who live at home, in our house and barn. They are Chloe, Bella, Arnold, Little Man, Sam, Emma, Sabrina (Baby Kitty), Missy, Missus Sweetie, Leroy, Sassy, Silver, and Bogie. Their birth years range from 1989 to 2008.

We have furry staff members. Eileen, formerly known as Mom Kat, because she came to us with five kittens in October 1999. We still have her and four of her kittens, who we now call the Catkins because they are cats now. They are Nathan, Timothy, Glory, and Ginger. They have all found a home with us at Rolling Acres Memorial Gardens.

Our dogs are Jill, our Australian Shepherd/Blue Heeler, who was born in August 1999; Piper (yes, her name is Piper Piper), a miniature Schnauzer, who was born March 12, 2004; and Dolly, a miniature Australian Shepherd, born 6-3-09. Piper was my birthday present that year. Dolly came to us after Jake died. The dogs go back and forth from home to work with Gary and me each day. They are available for grief counseling as needed, as are the cats.
