One of our most popular urns is the Figurine Urn, made from solid hardwood lumber, this urn is available in Maple (light), Oak (medium), or Walnut (dark). This urn offers each client the choice of hundreds of different purebred dogs, cats, or other animal figurines which we attach to the top of each urn. Every figurine is made from a mixture of alabaster (ground sea-shell) and hard resins and then hand-painted for a realistic appearance.

This urn also includes your personal (4 lines, 30 characters per line) inscription on a premium leaded brass nameplate. Each urn is sanded until it is very smooth and then we apply 3 premium coats of lacquer finish. The pet's bagged ashes are installed through the removable bottom which is secured with screws, providing tamper resistant protection, unlike gift boxes which might come open unexpectedly.

We attach all figurines so that the pet's face and/or body are facing forward in an attractive fashion, which may be different from the pose shown in the picture on this page. This position was chosen by the photographer to better show the outline of the figurine's face which otherwise might be difficult to view if positioned differently during photography.

The Figurine Urn is available in a Small, Medium, Large or Extra-Large size depending on the size of the pet (see guidelines below). Inside capacities are 55, 85, 115 and 145 cubic inches respectively for the 4 sizes. Actual outside dimensions are listed below. Inside dimensions are approximately 1 inch smaller.

Wood is a natural product, as such, colors and grain patterns can vary from one urn to the next.
